The FTP manager can be used to administer your FTP
service. With this you can add and remove accounts,
control sessions and anonymous usage. The FTP service
can be used to create your own download area for your
site.
Adding an FTP account
For a user to be able to access your FTP account they
must have a username and password unless you allow
them to browse and download anonymously.
To add an FTP accounts first locate the FTP manager
icon within the control panel and click on it.
The following screen will then load
Then Click on the ftp://accounts, the following menu
will then load.
This menu give you information on your current FTP
accounts. To create a new ftp account click on [Add
Account] The following screen will then load.
You then have to fill in the log in and the password
for the account you wish to create. Once you have
done this click the Create button. You will then be
told if the account creation was successful.

Deleting an FTP account
You can also delete FTP accounts that are no longer
needed. To do this first locate the FTP manager icon
and click on it.
The Following menu will then load.
Then Click on the ftp://accounts, the following menu
will then load.
To delete an account click on the delete button for
the account you wish to remove.
You will then be told if the deletion was successful.

Anonymous FTP controls
Anonymous ftp can be used if you want to allow anyone
to download from your ftp server (no password or username
is needed).
To change you anonymous FTP settings first click on
the FTP manager icon within the control panel.
The Following menu will then load.
Then click on the Anonymous FTP controls button, the
following menu will then load.
You then have two click boxes to fill in. The
first sets weather or not you would like usurers
to be able to anonymously log on to your FTP
server (click it to enable). The second sets
weather or not you would like a user to be able
to anonymously upload to your FTP server (click
it to enable). Once you have clicked or unclicked
these boxes you can press the save button. You
shall then be told if your update was successful.

Anonymous FTP message
An anonymous FTP message is a message that an anonymous
user will get when they log on to your FTP server.
To change you anonymous FTP message first click on
the FTP manager icon within the control panel.
The Following menu will then load.
Then click on the Anonymous FTP message button, the
following menu will then load.
You then have to fill in the text box with your desired
message. Once this has been done click the save message
button. You will then be told if your message has
been saved.

FTP:// Session Control
When a user logs on to your FTP server they start
what’s know as a session. You can cancel a session
at any time using the FTP session control icon.
To access session controls click on the FTP Manager
icon within the control panel.
The Following menu will then load.
Then click on the FTP:// Session Control button, the
following menu will then load.
You can then see any active FTP sessions and control
them.
